The City of Greenfield has sponsored two more grant applications for funding the design and construction the Powerline Trail Phase 1.
The Multimodal Local Supplement (MLS) program may be used for multimodal transportation projects, including bicycle and pedestrian facilities. This grant program is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) encourages and projects defined as transportation alternatives, including on- and off-road pedestrian and bicycle facilities, infrastructure projects for improving non-driver access to public transportation and enhanced mobility,recreational trail projects and safe routes to school projects.
